Easy chicken pie
Ingredients/Components
- buttermilk - 1 c
- self-rising flour - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- chicken broth - 2 c
- stick margarine, melted - 1 item
- black pepper to taste - 1 item
- whole fryer - 1 item
How to make easy chicken pie:
Cook chicken. Debone and cut into small pieces. Reserve 2 cups broth. Place chicken in 9 x 12-inch pan. In saucepan, mix broth and cream of chicken soup. Bring to boil. Pour over chicken. In a bowl, mix margarine, flour, pepper and buttermilk to form batter. Spoon over chicken. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until brown.Recipe categories: Main dish, Chicken breast, Savory pies.
