Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- water - 1 gal
- white vinegar - 1 c
- canning salt - 1/2 c
- green beans, stemmed and cleaned
How to make easy canned green beans:
Boil first four ingredients together for 5 minutes, then add the green beans. Heat to boiling again. Pack beans tightly in sterile jars. Cover with boiling water from beans. Seal tightly.To Open And Use Beans: Pour out and discard the water from the beans. Rinse beans well with cold water and discard water. Pour boiling water over beans and discard water. Then cook as you would fresh green beans. They are good. I can beans like this every year.
