Easy blackberry cobbler
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- self-rising flour - 3/4 c
- almond or vanilla extract - 1/4 tsp
- can blackberries or your favorite canned fruit undrained - 1 oz
How to make easy blackberry cobbler:
Preheat oven to 350°. Place butter in an 8-inch square baking dish. Place dish in oven at 350° for 3 to 5 minutes or until butter melts. Combine flour and sugar in a medium bowl; add milk and almond extract, stirring until smooth. Pour batter over melted butter. (Do not stir.) Pour blackberries over batter. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45 to 55 minutes or until golden. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Low protein, Cobblers and crisps.
