  • salt - 1 tsp
  • water - 1/4 c
  • vinegar - 2 Tbsp
  • brown sugar, packed - 3 Tbsp
  • lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • salad oil - 2 Tbsp
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • chili powder - 1 tsp
  • catsup - 3 Tbsp
  • red pepper - 1/2 tsp

How to make easy barbecue sauce:

Combine all ingredients in quart jar; shake well and refrigerate until ready to use. Use as a basting sauce for chicken, beef or pork. Yields 1 cup.
