  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • coconut - 1 c
  • powdered sugar - 1 lb
  • stick oleo - 1 item
  • German chocolate cake mix - 1 item

How to make earthquake cake:

Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch pan. Put a layer of coconut and pecans in pan. Prepare cake mix as per directions. Pour over coconut, pecan layer. Mix softened oleo and cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla; spread over batter. (I drop by spoonful.) Bake at 300° for 40 to 50 minutes.
