- coconut - 1 c
- cocoa - 2 Tbsp
- sifted powdered sugar - 4 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- margarine, melted - 1/2 c
- cream cheese, softened - 1 (8
- box German chocolate cake mix - 1 item
- chopped nuts pecans - 1 c
- Coke - 6 Tbsp
How to make earthquake cake:
Prepare cake mix as instructed on box. Spread coconut and nuts in bottom of dish 13 x 9. Pour cake mix over nuts and coconut. Combine melted margarine, cream cheese and 2 cups of powdered sugar. Beat until smooth. Pour over cake batter and bake at 350° for 45 to 55 minutes.Frosting: Combine cocoa powder, Coke and 1/2 cup of margarine. Cook on medium heat until mixture boils. Pour over remaining powdered sugar.
