Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 item
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- pkg - 8 oz
- coconut - 1 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 lb
- melted oleo - 1 stick
- Miss Swiss chocolate double dutch or German chocolate cake mix - 1 item
How to make earthquake cake:
Mix coconut and pecans and press in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Prepare cake mix as directed and pour over nut mixture.Mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla and melted oleo. Drop by teaspoon onto cake. (If you heat the cream, sugar, oleo and vanilla it will drizzle better over cake mix.) Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes or until done. Serve with Cool Whip or ice cream.
