  • ground cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • ground nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
  • butter at room temperature - 1/3 c
  • graham cracker pie crust - 1 item
  • light brown sugar, firmly packed - 1/4 c
  • sliced, peeled apples
  • large egg yolk, slightly beaten - 1 item

How to make dutch apple pie:

Preheat oven to 375°. Brush bottom and sides of crust evenly with egg yolk. Bake on baking sheet until light brown, about 5 minutes.
