Dump cake

Ingredients/Components

• yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
• chopped nuts if desired - 1 item
• large can crushed pineapple - 1 item
• or 2 sticks margarine - 1 item
• large can cherries thicken - 1 item

How to make dump cake:

Note: Dump ingredients in, do not stir.

Grease and flour a 13 x 9-inch pan. Preheat oven to 350°. Dump in pineapple and swirl evenly over bottom of pan. Dump in can of thickened cherries and spread evenly, then spread the dry cake mix evenly over that. Cut the margarine in thin slices and lay close together on top of dry cake mix and sprinkle with chopped nuts, if desired. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until nice and brown.
