Duck soup



Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- flour - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- cloves - 4 item
- allspice - 5 item
- bay leaf - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- marjoram - 1/2 tsp
- duck, cut up and rinsed - 1 item
- prunes and/or raisins - 1/2 1
- duck blood - 1 item
How to make duck soup:
Put duck in large soup pot; cover with cold water and bring to a boil. Turn down heat and skim. Simmer 1 1/2 hours with prunes, cloves, allspice, bay leaf, marjoram and salt. When duck is tender, add blood. Thicken soup with flour; flavor with sugar and vinegar. Serve with potato noodles.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Main dish, One Dish meal.
