Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
- butter or margarine, melted - 1 Tbsp
- beaten egg - 1 item
- paprika - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- hot mashed potatoes 5 to 6 potatoes, depending on size - 2 c
How to make duchess potatoes:
Beat potatoes and butter with electric mixer until smooth. Using large spoon, form mounds and place on greased cookie sheet or ovenproof flat plate. Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle with paprika. Bake in preheated 450° oven for 10 to 12 minutRecipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Vegetables.
