Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1/2 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • butter or margarine - 1/2 c
  • flour - 3/4 c
  • cocoa - 3 Tbsp
  • baking powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Rice Krispies
  • peanut butter - 1 c
  • miniature marshmallows - 2 c

How to make double chocolate crumble bars:

Cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and add to egg mixture. Spread in bottom of greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes. Spread marshmallows on top and bake 3 minutes. Cool. Combine chocolate chips and peanut butter. Cook until melted. Stir in cereal. Spread mixture atop cooled bars. Chill. Cut into bars. Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
