- sugar - 3/4 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1/2 oz
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- corn syrup - 1/4 c
- sifted all-purpose flour - 1 c
- chopped California walnuts - 1/2 c
- sq - 2 oz
How to make double chocolate brownies:
Cream together first 3 ingredients until fluffy; add syrup and continue creaming. Beat in eggs and chocolate. Sift together dry ingredients; stir into batter. Fold in chocolate pieces and walnuts. Spread in greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan; bake in moderate oven (350°) about 25 minutes. Cut into squares or bars.Recipe categories: Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie, Brownies.
