Double boiler bread pudding
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk
- light brown sugar
- slices bread, buttered - 7 item
How to make double boiler bread pudding:
Prepare bread. Remove crust and butter. Stack all slices and cut into cubes (4 to 6 cubes). Put sugar in boiler add cubed bread, milk and light brown sugar. Pour on top of 4 eggs, well beaten. Do not stir. Cover and cook about 1 1/4 hours on medium heat. Do not uncover until ready to serve. Top with whip cream.
