Donut muffins

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• eggs - 2 item
• milk - 1/2 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour
• nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
• baking powder
• melted butter - 6 Tbsp
• shortening - 1/3 c

How to make donut muffins:

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs; beat well. Sift flour with baking powder, salt and spices. Mix alternately with milk. Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes. Remove and roll in 6 tablespoons melted butter, then in 1 cup confectioners sugar.
