  • sugar
  • water - 1/2 c
  • egg whites - 2 item
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • Karo light syrup - 2/3 c

How to make divinity:

Boil sugar, salt, syrup and water to 265°, hard-ball stage. Beat egg whites, then add boiling mixture. Beat until thick and add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. You can add 1 cup of chopped pecans, when adding vanilla, if wanted.
