  • cream cheese - 8 oz
  • milk
  • confectioners sugar - 1 c
  • margarine or butter - 1/4 c
  • Cool Whip - 12 oz
  • nuts optional - 1 c
  • instant vanilla pudding - 2 pkg
  • Oreo cookies regular, not double - 1 lb

How to make dirt:

In blender, crush 4 cookies at a time. If no blender, roll them out. Cream together the margarine or butter with the cream cheese and confectioners sugar.

In another bowl, mix milk, pudding and Cool Whip. Now, combine both bowls. (Add nuts now, if desired.) Note: All ingredients are in this bowl, except cookies.

Put layers in beach pail or trifle dish, starting with the cookies, then pudding mixture. Continue the layers, ending with the cookies. Chill until ready to serve.
