- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 4 5
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- warm water - 1/4 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make dinner rolls:
Mix yeast in warm water and set aside. Scald milk and add to sugar, Crisco and salt and set aside to cool. Beat the eggs and add to cooled mixture and 2 cups flour. Add yeast and 2 to 3 cups more flour. Let rise once; punch down and let rise again. Bake at 400° for about 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, Yeast breads.
