Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 c
- water
- vinegar
- cayenne pepper - 1/8 tsp
- fresh green beans - 2 lb
- dill heads - 1 item
- medium garlic cloves, sliced - 1 item
How to make dilly beans:
Snap off stem ends of beans. Pack into 4 sterilized pint jars to which you have added 1 large dill head and a sliced medium garlic clove. Bring vinegar, water, salt and cayenne pepper to a boil. Pour over beans. Seal; process 10 minutes in hot water bath. Do not use quart jars.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Appetizers, Vegetables.
