Ingredients/Components
- water - 3 qt
- cider vinegar - 1 qt
- pickling salt - 1 c
- cucumbers - 1 item
- clove of garlic - 1 item
- sprig of dill - 1 item
How to make dill pickles:
Cider vinegar, water and pickling spice is enough for approximately 6 quarts of dills.Bring vinegar, water and salt to a good boil and pour over room temperature cucumbers in a jar that has a sprig of dill and a clove of garlic in it. Seal.
To prepare cucumbers, wash well and remove the blossom end. Let dry and pack jars with the cucumbers, garlic and dill. Needs to set approximately 3 months before ready to eat.
