Ingredients/Components
- water - 3 qt
- salt - 1 c
- small garlic - 1 item
- powdered alum - 2 Tbsp
- grape leaf to a jar - 1 item
- vinegar - 1 qt
- mustard seed - 1 Tbsp
- red hot pepper - 1 item
- pack cucumbers - 1/2 item
How to make dill pickles:
Soak pickles in powdered alum and water for 2 to 3 hours. Boil remaining ingredients (except grape leaves) for 5 minutes. Pour over pickles. Place 1 grape leaf over pickles.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Appetizers, Condiments, etc..
