Ingredients/Components
- water - 2 qt
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- coarse salt - 1/2 c
- cloves garlic - 4 item
- bay leaves - 4 item
- mustard seed - 1/4 tsp
- cucumbers - 30 item
- mixed pickling spice - 1 tsp
- sprigs dill - 10 item
How to make dill pickles:
Wash and dry cucumbers and arrange in a crock or jar. Bring salt and water to a boil. Cool, then add vinegar, garlic, bay leaves, mustard and pickling spices. Pour over cucumbers. Arrange dill over all. Liquid should completely cover cucumbers. If not, add more salt water. Keep in a cool place for one week.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Appetizers, Condiments, etc..
