  • sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • chopped parsley - 1 item
  • white vinegar - 1 c
  • Desired amount of carrots cut in strips - 1 item
  • dill weed or 2 Tbsp - 1 tsp

How to make dill carrots:

Boil carrots until just tender. Make mixture of vinegar, salt, sugar, and dill weed and soak carrots for several hours or overnight. Drop carrots into this mixture while still hot. Before serving, remove carrots, reserving liquid. Serve on a dish with a sprinkling of the parsley. Also the reserved liquid may be used again.
