Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- margarine - 1/4 c
- apples, peeled and diced - 6 c
- unbaked pie crusts - 2 item
- frozen apple juice - 6 oz
- dash of cinnamon or apple pie spice - 1 item
How to make diabetic apple pie:
Dissolve cornstarch in apple juice. Combine with apples and spice. Simmer until thick. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Dot with margarine. Cover with top crust and bake at 375° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
