Deluxe chocolate marshmallow bars

eggs - 3 item
vanilla - 1 tsp
salt - 1/2 tsp
chopped nuts - 1/2 c
flour
butter - 3/4 c
baking powder - 1/2 tsp
Rice Krispies - 2 c
peanut butter - 1 c
miniature marshmallows - 4 c
8 oz
baking cocoa - 3 Tbsp

How to make deluxe chocolate marshmallow bars:

In a mixing bowl cream 3/4 cup butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until fluffy.

Combine flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa. Add to creamed mixture and stir in nuts. Spread in a greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350° for 15 to 18 minutes. Sprinkle marshmallows evenly over cake. Return to oven for 2 to 3 minutes.

Using a knife dipped in warm water, spread the melted marshmallows evenly over cake. Cool.

For the topping, combine chocolate chips, 3 tablespoons of butter and peanut butter in a small saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until melted and well blended. Remove from heat and stir in cereal. Spread over bars. Chill. Yields about 3 dozen.
