Delmonico potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- light cream
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 item
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
- or 4 medium size potatoes - 3 item
How to make delmonico potatoes:
Bake the potatoes. Peel the potatoes as thinly as possible and chop. Place in small baking dish with cream and butter. Add the seasonings. Cook on top of the stove for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Sprinkle with cheese and place under a broiler for 3 minutes. Dish is done when the cheese is brown and bubbly. Serve at once.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Vegetables.
