cinnamon - 1 tsp
eggs - 2 item
vanilla - 1 tsp
milk - 8 Tbsp
chopped nuts - 2 c
water - 1 c
soda - 1 tsp
cocoa - 4 Tbsp
buttermilk - 1/2 c
self-rising flour - 2 c
box confectioners sugar - 1 lb
stick butter or margarine - 1 item
liquid vegetable shortening - 1 c
In saucepan, put shortening, margarine, water and cocoa

How to make delicious chocolate cake:

Mix sugar and flour in bowl. In saucepan, put shortening, margarine, water and cocoa. Bring to boil over low heat.

Combine dry ingredients in large bowl. Add eggs, buttermilk, soda, cinnamon and vanilla. Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for approximately 45 minutes. Pour hot icing over hot cake.Icing:1 stick butter4 Tbsp. cocoa8 Tbsp. milk1 lb. box confectioners sugar1 tsp. vanilla2 c. chopped nuts Bring to a boil over moderate heat the butter, cocoa and milk. Remove from heat and beat in confectioners sugar, vanilla and chopped pecans.
