  • peanut oil - 1 item
  • Cajun seasoning - 1 item
  • turkey you choose the size - 1 item

How to make deep fried turkey:

You will need an outdoor flame cooker, propane, deep frying pot and thermometer.

Thaw turkey as directed and rinse. Rub with peanut oil, covering all areas inside and out. Coat well with Cajun seasoning, again inside and out, and refrigerate overnight.

Heat oil to 375°. Carefully place turkey in hot oil. Deep fry for 3 to 3 1/2 minutes per pound. Adjust flame to keep a constant temperature of 375° throughout cooking time. That's all you do! Enjoy!
