  • cold water - 1/4 c
  • dairy sour cream - 1/2 c
  • Bisquick - 1 c
  • chopped onion - 1 item
  • ground beef - 1/2 lb
  • mayonnaise - 1/3 c
  • green pepper, chopped - 1/2 c
  • shredded cheese - 1/2 c
  • to 2 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced - 1 item

How to make deep dish taco squares:

Brown beef; drain. Mix sour cream, mayonnaise, cheese and onion. Set aside. Mix Bisquick and water until soft dough forms. Pat in 8 x 8-inch pan, pressing dough 1/2 inch up sides. Layer beef, tomatoes and pepper on dough. Spoon sour cream mixture on top. Bake in 375° oven for 25 to 30 minutes until edges are brown. Double recipe for 9 x 13-inch pan.
