Deep dark chocolate cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1 c
- vanilla extract - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking powder
- baking soda
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- boiling water - 1 c
- all-purpose flour
- box chocolate cake mix - 1 item
- bowl buttercream frosting - 1 item
How to make deep dark chocolate cake:
Heat oven to 350°. Grease and flour 2 (9-inch) round baking pans or 1 (13 x 9 x 2-inch) pan. In large mixer bowl, combine dry ingredients. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes. Remove from mixer; stir in boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour into prepared pans. Bake 30 to 35 minutes for round pans (35 to 40 minutes for rectangular pans or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean). Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pans to wire rack. Cool completely.
