Death by chocolate trifle
Ingredients/Components
- can chocolate syrup - 1 oz
- fudge brownie mix - 1 pkg
- frozen nondairy whipped topping - 24 oz
- Heath or Skor bars - 8 item
- kahlua or coffee liqueur - 1/2 c
- Knorr instant chocolate mousse - 3 pkg
How to make death by chocolate trifle:
Bake brownie mix according to package directions. While baking, mix together chocolate syrup and the kahlua. Pour about half of this mixture into trifle or serving dish. When the brownie is done and cooled, break up and put into the dish on top of the syrup mixture. Mashing it is okay. Break up Heath or Skor bars and sprinkle some between layers. Pour half of remaining syrup mixture on top of brownie mixture and refrigerate. Make mousse according to package directions. Spread mousse on top of cake. Sprinkle with broken Heath or Skor bars. Spread whipped topping on top. When serving, serve with whipped topping and drizzle with chocolate syrup.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pork, Beans.
