Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- cold water - 1/2 c
- cream - 3 c
- whole milk - 4 c
- envelopes gelatin - 2 item
How to make dairy queen ice cream:
Soak gelatin in the cold water. Heat milk until hot, but not boiling; remove from heat. Add gelatin, sugar, vanilla and salt. Cool. Add cream. Put in icebox to chill 5 to 6 hours before freezing. Makes 1 gallon.Recipe categories: Desserts, Low protein, Ice cream.
