  • sugar
  • eggs - 6 item
  • flour
  • water - 2/3 c
  • baking powder - 3 tsp
  • Wesson oil - 3/4 c

How to make daffodil cake:

Beat 6 egg whites with 1 teaspoon cream of tartar until very stiff. Mix all other ingredients together and add to egg whites. Bake at 375° for 40 to 50 minutes in an ungreased tube pan. Invert cake when done.
