- flour - 3 4
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
How to make czech dumplings:
Combine ingredients with just enough water to work dough into a ball by rolling dough in the palm of your hands. (Dumplin' should be a little bigger than an egg, about the size of a baseball.) Drop dumplings into pot of boiling water. After several minutes, take one dumplin' out, cut to see if it is cooked in the middle. If raw, cook a little longer. (Don't overcook; they'll be hard!)Dumplings can be served cut up into small pieces and Tomato Omacka serve on top of 'em; they can be cut up and served with meat and gravy, fried with scrambled eggs, fried like hash browns and served with anything.
