  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • cinnamon - 1 item
  • eggs - 5 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 3 1/2
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour
  • Crisco - 1/2 c
  • ice water - 3 4

How to make custard pie:

Pastry (for Single Crust Pie):1 c. flour1/2 c. Crisco1/4 tsp. salt3 to 4 Tbsp. ice water Pastry: In bowl, cut in Crisco, flour and salt until pieces are the size of peas. Sprinkle water until all is moistened and form into a ball. Roll into a 10-inch pie plate.

Custard: Bring milk to a boiling point. Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla. Add to milk, stirring rapidly. Pour into pastry shell. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Done when knife is inserted into pie and comes out clean.
