Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 2 c
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- eggs, well beaten - 4 item
How to make custard pie:
Stir together the sugar, flour and salt. Add eggs and blend. Add vanilla and milk; mix and pour into unbaked pie crust. Sprinkle top with 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg. Bake in a 400° oven for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 325° and bake about 25 minutes more.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
