Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- chicken broth - 2 c
- long grain rice - 2 c
- curry powder - 1 Tbsp
How to make curried rice:
Combine all ingredients; cook, covered, in top of double boiler until all moisture is absorbed and rice is tender and fluffy, about 40 to 50 minutes. Rice may be cooked also in heavy-duty pan with close fitting lid. Serves 8 to 10.Recipe categories: Side dish, Rice, White rice.
