Ingredients/Components

  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • cornstarch - 4 Tbsp
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • curry powder - 2 tsp
  • can pineapple chunks, drained - 1 lb
  • can pear halves, drained - 1 lb
  • can peach slices, drained - 1 lb
  • can apricots or more peaches, drained - 1 item
  • small jar whole cherries, drained - 1 item

How to make curried fruit:

Arrange fruit in dish; save 2 cups juice. Cook juice, brown sugar, butter, cornstarch, curry powder and salt until thick. Stir constantly. Pour on top of arranged fruit. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
