Curried chicken salad



  • lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped celery
  • soy sauce
  • curry powder - 1 Tbsp
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • grated onion - 1 Tbsp
  • mayo
  • can water chestnuts, drained - 1 item
  • chutney - 1 Tbsp
  • can chunk pineapple, drained - 1 oz
  • cut up cooked poultry chicken or turkey - 3 c
  • seedless grapes red or green; both are pretty - 2 c

How to make curried chicken salad:

Dressing:1 1/2 c. mayo2 Tbsp. lemon juice2 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce1 Tbsp. curry powder1 Tbsp. grated onion1 Tbsp. chutney Combine all ingredients for dressing in bowl and mix well. In another larger bowl, mix all other ingredients and toss. Pour dressing over and toss well (best next day). Serve over mixed greens on plates. Serves 4 to 8.
