Crusty baked chicken
Ingredients/Components
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- paprika - 1 tsp
- garlic salt - 1 tsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- poultry seasoning - 1 tsp
- , cut in pieces - 1 frying
- milk or half and half - 1/4 c
- instant potato flakes - 1 c
How to make crusty baked chicken:
Wash and trim fat from chicken. In a bowl, beat egg with milk. In another bowl, combine potato flakes, garlic salt, paprika, poultry seasoning and Parmesan cheese. Dip chicken pieces first in beaten egg, then potato flake mixture. Place chicken on microwave rack or microwave-safe pan. Microwave on High for 10 minutes, turning once. Sprinkle with a little melted butter. Microwave again on High for 6 to 7 minutes, turning around and over at least once. Makes 4 servings.Recipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Meat.
