Crustless quiche



  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1/2 c
  • butter - 1/4 lb
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • large eggs - 6 item
  • cottage cheese - 2 c
  • Monterey Jack cheese, cubed - 1 lb

How to make crustless quiche:

Melt butter in small saucepan. Add flour and cook until smooth. Beat eggs; add milk, cheeses, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add butter and flour mixture. Stir until well blended. Pour into a well-greased 9 x 12 x 2-inch pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 25 minutes.

Half recipe for large pie plate. Top with sliced mushrooms.
