Ingredients/Components

  • shredded carrots - 1 c
  • chopped celery - 1 c
  • Miracle Whip salad dressing - 1 c
  • minced onion - 2 Tbsp
  • lettuce - 1 item
  • cream, whipped - 1/2 c
  • medium can tuna - 1 item
  • shoestring potatoes canned - 2 c

How to make crunchy tuna salad:

Pour boiling water over tuna. Drain and cool. Add celery, carrots and onion. Blend salad dressing and whipped cream. Add to tuna. Stir in potatoes. Serve immediately on a bed of lettuce. Yields 6 servings.

This is good with strawberry jello, using chopped nuts and pineapple. Add a few green grapes. Makes a pretty plate.
