  • pkg - 1 oz
  • soy sauce - 3 Tbsp
  • can sliced water chestnuts - 1 oz
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • can sliced mushrooms, drained - 1 oz
  • large onion, finely chopped - 1 item
  • sausage - 1 lb

How to make crunchy sausage casserole:

Brown sausage, ground beef and onion together; drain well. Add mushrooms, water chestnuts and soy sauce. Spoon into ungreased 2-quart casserole. Sprinkle almonds over top. Bake, uncovered, at 300° for 20 minutes. Serves 8 to 10.
