Crispy herb chicken
Ingredients/Components
- paprika - 1/8 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
- parsley flakes - 2 tsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- onion powder - 1/2 tsp
- mashed potato flakes - 2/3 c
- margarine or butter, melted - 1/3 c
- whole chicken, quartered, skinned, rinsed and patted dry - 1 item
How to make crispy herb chicken:
Heat oven to 375°. Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan. In medium bowl combine potato flakes, Parmesan cheese, parsley flakes, onion powder, garlic salt, paprika and pepper. Stir until well mixed. Dip chicken pieces into margarine; roll into potato flake mixture to coat. Place in greased pan. Bake at 375° for 60 to 75 minutes or until chicken is tender and golden brown.
