Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt
  • all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
  • butter, melted - 1/3 c
  • cornmeal - 1/2 c
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • chili powder
  • , cut up - 1 broiler

How to make crispy baked chicken:

Combine cornmeal, flour, salt and chili powder and pepper. Dip chicken in milk; roll in cornmeal mixture. Place in greased 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan. Drizzle with butter. Bake uncovered at 375° for 50 to 55 minutes or until juices run clear. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
