Creole shrimp
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- paprika - 1 Tbsp
- olive oil - 2 Tbsp
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- red wine - 1 c
- bay leaves - 2 item
- cayenne pepper - 1 tsp
- thyme - 2 tsp
- chopped garlic - 1 2
- large prawns - 1 lb
- each chopped onion, celery and green pepper - 1 c
- cans Italian style chopped tomatoes - 2 item
How to make creole shrimp:
Cook fresh vegetables in olive oil until slightly wilted. Add all seasonings. Add red wine and tomatoes. Add cleaned and shelled uncooked prawns. Cook 3 to 5 minutes. Serve with steamed rice.Recipe categories: Main dish, Shellfish, Shrimp.
