Creole shrimp
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- minced onion - 1/2 c
- minced parsley - 1 tsp
- diced celery - 1/4 c
- dash of cayenne pepper - 1 item
- bay leaf, crushed - 1 item
- cooked shrimp two 7 oz - 2 c
How to make creole shrimp:
Saute onion in butter. Blend in rest of ingredients except shrimp. Cook slowly, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes. Stir in shrimp and heat. Serve on hot cooked rice.Recipe categories: Main dish, Shellfish, Shrimp.
