Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- paprika
- garlic powder
- chili powder - 1/4 tsp
- black pepper - 3/4 tsp
- dried oregano - 3/4 tsp
- onion powder
- red pepper - 1 tsp
- dried thyme
- ground bay leaves - 1/2 tsp
How to make creole seasoning blend:
Italian Butter: Combine 2 tablespoons butter or margarine (softened), 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning and dash of garlic powder.Onion Butter: Combine 2 tablespoons butter or margarine (softened) and 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion.
Mustard Butter: Combine 2 tablespoons butter or margarine (softened), 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard and 1/2 teaspoon dill seed.
Herb Butter: Combine 2 tablespoons butter or margarine (softened) and 1 teaspoon minced fresh herbs.
Strawberry Butter: Combine 1/2 cup butter, 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar and 3 to 4 tablespoons mashed fresh strawberries.
Honey Butter: Combine 1/2 cup margarine or butter (softened) and 1/2 cup honey until fluffy.
