  • brown sugar - 6 tsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • shortening - 3 Tbsp
  • catsup - 1/2 c
  • pork chops - 6 item
  • thin slices lemon - 6 item
  • thin slices onion - 6 item

How to make creole pork chops:

In a skillet, brown chops in shortening. On each chop place a lemon slices and an onion slice. Mix together brown sugar, catsup and water. Pour over chops. Cook covered until tender, about 1 hour.
