Ingredients/Components
- water - 3 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1 tsp
- margarine - 2 tsp
- small onion - 1 item
- tomato, sliced - 1 item
- salt, pepper and thyme to taste - 1 item
- slices red snapper or other fish - 2 item
- slice yam - 1 item
How to make creole fish:
Season fish with salt, pepper, vinegar and thyme. Fry in margarine; take out when half done. Fry onion and yam in same margarine until brown; add water and tomato slices. Let cook for 10 minutes; add fish and cook slowly for 15 minutes. Serve hot. Serves 4.Recipe categories: Main dish, Saltwater fish, Sole and flounder.
