Ingredients/Components

  • water - 3 Tbsp
  • vinegar - 1 tsp
  • margarine - 2 tsp
  • small onion - 1 item
  • tomato, sliced - 1 item
  • salt, pepper and thyme to taste - 1 item
  • slices red snapper or other fish - 2 item
  • slice yam - 1 item

How to make creole fish:

Season fish with salt, pepper, vinegar and thyme. Fry in margarine; take out when half done. Fry onion and yam in same margarine until brown; add water and tomato slices. Let cook for 10 minutes; add fish and cook slowly for 15 minutes. Serve hot. Serves 4.
